Important Update for Colorado 811 Members!
What Happened?
Colorado 811 has discovered that Automatic Positive Response Renotifications (also known as Late Notices) generated were mistakenly sent during the system cut over from the new Exactix System to members who had already responded using the old legacy Norfield/Newtin system, which did not always require attachments. If you received one of these late notices in error, no action is required—please disregard the notification.
NOTE! Colorado 811 has updated positive response requirements that now apply to tickets generated by the new Exactix system: If your response code in Exactix requires an attachment, you must submit both the response and the attachment to avoid receiving a late notice.
If you received a late notice in error, please consider that is you have not responded to your ticket at all yet you must comply with the lawful requirement in the new Exactix ticketing system, which requires you to submit both a response and an attachment to avoid late notices for most response codes.
If you were impacted by this system transition glitch, please accept our apology for any inconvenience this caused and note that Colorado 811 will issue billing credits to any members who inadvertently received late notices due to this error. The configuration issue is being worked on and will be resolved by the time late notices are scheduled to resume on Monday, February 2, 2026, using the corrected configuration settings.
